"Non-Stop" Movie Thoughts

I recently saw the film Non-Stop, a movie which I had zero interest in watching yet it ended up surprising me! The acting by Liam Neeson elevates the film considerably with his natural gravitas but I also don't want to discount the invaluable character actors filling out the cast. The film moves at a taut pace and is quite suspenseful through most of the runtime. Alas, the last third unravels into a mess of absurdity and over the top action that just doesn't add up. It may end up a wasted opportunity in the last stretch but I think it delivers the good for the majority. If you are looking for an enjoyable mystery film in the vein of old school Hitchcock then I say see it.
